“Brigning light in darkness”

Mahatsinjo District / LHM cooperation
The first ETS workshop at Mahatsinjo District, Alaotra Synod successfully was carried out on September 26, 27 and 28, 2012. This is the first ETS for this area which is still spiritual in darkness since some people enter the church yet still practice pagan way of living. Participants came from eight congregations, part of two parishes within the district. The two pastors, respectively in charge of the two parishes, Rev Gilbert (President of the Mahatsinjo District) and Rev Andry (President of the Soalazaina Parish) actively participated in the implementation of the workshop, presenting two modules (3 and 7). Besides, the participants generally showed real interest in the content of the training, and the future evangelism programs within their respective areas. Most of the participants said: ‘We’re so thankful to the Lord for this special event. Many thanks for your coming to visit us to this remote countryside. May the Lord be with us, while carrying out our respective outreach programs during the next twelve months’.
As usual, certificates were awarded to all participants at the closing of the training.
