Hery Rajaonarimampianina President of the Fourth Republic

New era

The investiture of the new president ended the Transition. Hery Rajaonarimpianina took up his functions Saturday, January 25, 2014 by announcing the broad outlines of his five years. Organized under the leadership of the High Constitutional Court, the ceremony was characterized by the presentation of traditional oath of the President, followed by decoration of the insignia attributable to a president elected.
Hery Rajaonarimampianina in his first speech to the nation wants to be an opening and unifier man. He appealed to his competitors for a dialogue by considering the good of the country.

As we mentioned before, in this region, evangelism is one of the essential needs because most of the population still follow the ancestral customs. A total of 35 participants from 15 congregations within 7 Parishes attended this Workshop. Six Pastors in charge of 6 (six) parishes namely Rev Randrianandrasana Daniel, Rev Randimbiharisoa Arsene, Rev Rafenomananjato Johnson, Rev Andriamisarisoa Maël, Rev Rakotoarisina Bemahafaly, and Rev Rakotonirainy Benjamin (at the same time Fandriana District President) and Rev Randriamandimbisoa Alfred the Fisakana Synod President were present. They did take parts in the teaching and the opening and closing messages. Nine (9) of participants were active catechists, the others were church committee members, shepherds or group leaders. So,we expect that they will be able to convey the message and share what they have learnt and received once back to their respective home churches.
As usual, the closing of the training was ended with a certificate award ceremony

Bible Correspondance Course

Volunteers’s mission

The LHM of Madagascar was officially opened in 2000. The activities began with the Bible Correspondence Course whose grading was entrusted to many volunteers.
Since 2008, two volunteers ensure the continuation of work. Both are retired but they are happy to give their time to serve God. They said: “As long as it is day, we must keep on doing the work of him who sent me; night is coming when no one can work.” (John 9:4) An average of 120 copies is graded daily. We want to mention that the total number of BCC student’s registered till December 13, 2013 is 31 731.

Official presidential election results

Madagascar does not have an unwelcome new crisis

The curtain will close on the presidential elections. Tomorrow will the proclamation of the official results (despite requests relating to presidential elections and the calls for a confrontation of minutes and voter lists that are multiplying.)
After a decade of misery, Madagascar cannot afford another crisis that is more like a malediction than desired and caused a quest for true development. This is the future of a generation that is, once again, put at stake. It is a good time to clean deeply political practice. The future president should arm themselves with the necessary courage. The opinion considers it to one of these first 10 decisions. The account will begin tomorrow afternoon….
