Displaying of banners

To make well known BCC and to promote website programs

Display of banners at strategic sites in Antananarivo, the Capital of Madagascar is one of the best ways to reach the so-called un-churched people, the halfhearted people and also the Christian. So, the LHM is posting of six road side banners for three months. Through all these banners our objective is mainly to make known the BCC and to promote our website programs. So, we expect to convince people to enroll for BCC, so that they may study the Bible by Lesson or on line; to get new fans through the two social networks we use (Blog and Face book), as they will grow in faith and also to prompt people to come and visit our office so that they may participate in our different programs and some of them may become LHM volunteers.

Lutheran Church Tanambao District, Manakara Synod and LHM partnership

A renewal partnership

As we mentioned before, the partnership between the Lutheran Manakara Synod and LHM already existed but the relationship has been thoroughly suspended during a few years. Thanks to the Lord, a new partnership through ETS Workshop Training was successfully carried out on April 14-15, 2015. This represents the renewal partnership between the Lutheran Church Tanambao District, Manakara Synod and LHM. A total of 36 participants from 5 congregations within 5 Parishes attended this Workshop. Four Pastors in charge of four Parishes namely Rev Rakotomiandrisoa Pierrot, Rev Ramilavonjy Michel, Rev Tsino Ratsaramiafara Alfred and Rev Andrianiaina James (at the same time in charge of Tanambao District) actively participated in the implementation of the workshop. Two of them presented two modules (2 and 7). Most of the participants were very thankful to the Lord because it was an enriching event. So, we expect that they will be able to convey the message and share what they have learnt and received once back to their respective home churches. All participants were convinced by the importance of the knowledge of Bible, for an effective evangelization, thus, they are all registered to the lesson one of the BCC. As usual, all participants were awarded certificates at the closing of the training.

“Listen to His voice”

Monthly broadcasting program

As the World Women’s Day is March 8, the radio program for the month of March was devoted to the study of some female biblical personages. The same weekly program was aired through our six radio station partners (two in Antananarivo, one in Toamasina, Antsirabe, Toliara and Mahajanga). As it was a World Women’s Day, four Christian women were invited for the program: Rev Rina Rasoanaivo from Reformed Church for the first program (Ruth and Naomi); Mrs Jeanne Razafindravola, Shepherd from Lutheran Church for the second program (the Canaanite woman and Volahavana Germaine, a Leader of the Ankaramalaza Spiritual Revival Movement); Mrs Colette Randrianarivelo, Director of Protestant Radio Station for the third program (Deborah and Martha/Mary); and Mrs Jeannette Baonizafimanana, Honorary President of Lutheran Women Department for the last program (Hannah and Mary, Jesus’s mother).

University Veterinary Department

“God needs His people”

As usual the University Veterinary Department organized an evening prayer, but for the academic year 2014/2015, a day of prayer was organized on March 21, 2015. The theme of the meeting was focused on “God needs His people”. Then all the activities during the meeting: devotion, praising, witnessing, film and conference debate were centered on this theme. LHM Staff as a partner was invited to lead the worship, to make awareness about LHM activities, to encourage the students to enroll to BCC, to read booklet, to listen to the radio program and to visit LHM Website.
