Church visitation

The Holy Scripture makes known the work of the Lord Jesus Christ

Most of the Reformed Churches celebrate the deacon’s month this month of March 2016. Really, the deacons participate fully for the development of the Kingdom of God and they are the servant of God. So, this Church event is the moment that the deacons have to renew their commitment. For that, two LHM volunteers, Ms. Sahondra from Iharamy Reformed Church and Ms. Beby from Ambohibary Zoara Reformed Church took the opportunity to invite the LHM staff to raise awareness about BCC during Sunday service. The deacons and all the parishioners were encouraged to study the Bible because only the Holy Scriptures makes known the work of the Lord Jesus Christ and especially how to remain a faithful servant of Christ.

ETS Workshop.

Lutheran Church Ambalavao Tsienimparihy District, Central Synod and LHM partnership

It is well to recall that an ETS Workshop has already been organized in Ambalavao Tsienimparihy District for one Parish last year. We are reminded also that this Central Synod is characterized by strong ancestor’s pagan impacts. This District in charge by Rev. Randrianarivonirina Dieu Donné is composed of seven Parishes, so this year, a second ETS was organized for two other Parishes. The training was held on 10, 11 March 2016 at Ambalavao Tsienimparihy Lutheran Church. Five Lutheran Churches and a total of 23 participants attended the workshop. Rev Randrianarivonirina Dieu Donné and Rev Herimampiandrarivo Tantely Nirina in charge of the two Parishes were actively participated in the implementation of the workshop, leading the opening and closing devotions. The five churches attending the training are in the countryside, very far from Ambalavao and most of the participants have never participated in such training. So they are very grateful for the partnership with the LHM and especially to have the opportunity to participate in this training which equips the saint. It was a very benefit and enriching moment for them. As usual, the closing of the training was ended with a certificate award ceremony.

ETS Workshop training

The fourth ETS for this FY15/16 was successfully carried out on 25, 26 February 2016 at Makedonia Lutheran Revival Center in Ambatolampy, Avaratrimania Synod (South Center of Antananarivo). Five Lutheran Churches and a total of 27 participants with two Pastors, Rev Zoulder William David and Rev Randriamboavonjy Harison, attended the workshop. The two Pastors were actively participated in the implementation of the workshop, leading the opening and closing devotions. The second and the last module were presented by them too. So, this ETS Training is a big help for them as everyone said that they get and learn different approaches and especially technics on evangelization and communication which are very useful for having a good result. As usual, all participants were awarded certificates at the closing ceremony of the workshop. We would like to mention that the “Makedonia” Lutheran Church is at the same time a Revival Center and after a special agreement between the LHM Director and the Pastor, 25 trainee Shepherds who will be consecrated on June 1st, 2106 attended the meeting. Apart from the officials, they were as observers as the work of shepherd requires all the technics given by the ETS Training.
